The Performing Arts After School Program will produce two major productions; One in the fall and one in the spring.  Opportunities will also be available to work behind-the-scenes on sets, props, lighting and sound design under the guidance of industry 'pros'.

We are excited to be collaborating with the Atlanta Workshop Players this school year to provide professional-level training to challenge and inspire students thru extraordinary productions in a joyful, supportive, non-competitive atmosphere. The instructors will guide the student actors to Explore Acting for Stage and Screen, Improv, Stage Combat, Musical Theatre, Dance, Audition Techniques and Comedy. All programs are designed to instill important life-lessons thru the arts.

It is an honor to be along on the journey as these magnificent students evolve into responsible citizens of the world. Performing Arts training develops skills used in any career path: Public Speaking, Interview Skills, Communication Skills, Confidence, Respect, Collaboration and Leadership. The program is designed to help students discover how to make their audiences laugh, cry, wonder & guffaw. The intention of the collaboration is to teach the students how to let down their guard, trust their instincts and accept, heighten and explore their boundless imaginations to set a path for any career and have creative fun along the way!
